Report Design & Animation
SRDC and Mentor Canada were looking for a visual identity for their report on mentorship for BIPOC youth, as well as creative and accessible data visualizations to share their findings, both within the report, and externally via social media and live presentations.
Report Branding
A full visual identity to cover the entire report project, from presentations, social media, to the report itself. This included:
Full brand kit, including:
Presentation templates
Social media templates
Custom illustrations to set visual style for any animation work
Colour & typeface choices across all assets
Custom Data Visualizations
Data visualizations help take both quantitative and qualitative data, and design them for easy and accessible use by project stakeholders and the public. These visualizations are used in the final report, and any social media shareables or campaigns created.
Custom Animations
Custom animations can bring life to the qualitative and quantitative data within the report findings, as well as the key takeaways researchers want to impart upon their audience. They can make content that is usually very dense and difficult to read much more accessible and memorable for the intended audience. We created a 60 second animated video in English & French with custom animation, music, and Voice Acting.

The Final Report
All of this work would culminate in the presentation and layout of the final report itself. This report would be fully designed and typeset, and a final deliverable of a PDF & EPUB report would be delivered. This will include all of the data visualizations, illustrations, and brand assets we will have created over the previous project stages.
Options for the report can include:
Print ready PDF for physical reproduction
Digital focused PDF including interactive links
Accessible Plain text version of the PDF & EPUB
